On Tuesday 8th October, at Billericay FC's ground, Wakering over 70s were undefeated in their run on the Cup. At the group stage Wakering took on Billericay Town Blue, Chelmsford City Clarets and Southend finishing top of the group having won all three games. Meeting them in the final were Eastwood Falcons Blue who had topped their group with two wins and a draw.

Wakering quickly got on top in the final and were soon in front. Eastwood tried to get back into the game but Wakering's dominance was complete and they eventually lifted the Cup by three goals to one.
